Pfadfinderschaft Grauer Reiter

Our scout association is led by a three-person Federal Leadership (Bundesführung), which handles the day-to-day work within the association and represents it externally. This consists of the Federal Leader (Bundesführer), the Chancellor (Kanzler) and the Treasurer (Schatzmeister), all appointed by the Castle Council (Burgrat). The Burgrat is the highest decision-making body of the Grauer Reiter, meets annually at Hohenkrähen and includes representatives of all groups and tribes of the association.

The current Federal Leader is Line, with balu as Chancellor and Johanna as Treasurer.

The Bundesführung is responsible for the training of group leaders, ensured through regular seminars and courses, partly in cooperation with other scout associations. Day-to-day business – such as communication between groups, supporting local youth work and cooperating with the Fördergemeinschaft (the association’s supporting charity) – also falls within its remit.
